Tim Kaye
The natural world is Tim’s passion and he has spent most of his life inspiring others, young and old, with a love of nature. With a degree in Applied Biology, and experience running a field studies centre, working for the Field Studies Council, the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust and as a Countryside Ranger in Swindon, Tim has a wide knowledge of wildlife and conservation.

Dan Ryan is an ecologist, educator, seasoned guide and Head of Nature at The Lost Gardens of Heligan. He has a deep knowledge of the living land and is a self-declared ‘mushroom tickler.’

Ali McKernan

Dr Jassy Drakulic
Jassy is a Senior Plant Pathologist and Mycologist at the Royal Horticultural Society where she identifies and researches fungi in gardens. Jassy has created a fungi garden at RHS Wisley, aiming to win over visitors with the aesthetic beauty and ecological benefits of the species on show, and now supports fungi gardening projects in other public gardens. In 2025 she authored her first book, RHS Fungi for Gardeners.

Rich is a conservation mycologist with over 20 years’ experience spanning fungal ecology, rare species translocation, conservation, field mycology and cultivation. They have held positions at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, Cardiff University and Plantlife, and have been deeply involved in fungal education across lifelong learning and university settings.
